Duane Burnett

Duane Burnett has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Duane started their career as an Executive Chef and Catering Manager at Priscilla's Catering from 2000 to 2002. Duane then served as the General Manager and Chef at Diversified Foods Inc from 2002 to 2006.

In 2007, Duane joined Junxure as a Technical Support Specialist and eventually became the Team Lead QA/Escalation in 2010. Duane was promoted to the role of Business Analyst in 2016, where they worked closely with the Product Manager to establish specifications for Junxure Products. From 2017 to 2018, Duane took on the role of a Support Developer at Junxure, owning post production stability, scalability analysis, and issue resolution.

Duane transitioned to AdvisorEngine, which acquired Junxure, in 2018. Duane started as a Support Developer and then became a Dev Ops and Data Quality Reliability Engineer in 2019. In this role, they focused on keeping systems running smoothly, ensuring data accuracy, and providing meaningful business metrics. Duane was later promoted to Data Operations Manager in 2020, overseeing all Advisor Engine and Junxure data work.

Currently, Duane holds the position of Technical Operations Manager at AdvisorEngine, a role they assumed in February 2021. Duane leads the Advisor Engine DevOps and DataOps teams, ensuring the security, reliability, and cost-efficiency of the company's software solutions for Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) and Broker Dealers. Duane demonstrates servant leadership principles in their management approach, leveraging their 14-year+ tenure with Junxure, AdvisorEngine, and Franklin Templeton.

Duane Burnett's education history includes attending TechSkills from 2006 to 2007, where they pursued the MCSA Program and obtained certifications in MCP Server 2003 and WindowsXP, A+, and Network+. From 1995 to 1997, Duane attended Wake Technical Community College, majoring in Cuilinary Arts. Duane also attended Wake Technical Community College from 1993 to 1995, but the field of study or degree obtained during these years is not specified. In addition to their academic qualifications, Duane received certifications in various IT-related fields. In 2007, they obtained the A+ certification from CompTIA and the Microsoft Certified Professional certification from Microsoft. In 2015, Duane acquired the Microsoft Test Manager 2013 certification from Pluralsight.
