Shirin Jooybanpour has a diverse work experience starting from 2010. Shirin began as a Research Assistant at ITSRI and later worked as a PHP Web Developer at Teanab. Shirin then joined Behsazan Mellat (BSM) as an SQL Programmer and Delphi Developer. In 2014, they volunteered at ISSERV- NC State Office Of International Services and also worked as a Computer Lab Monitor at Wake Technical Community College. Shirin gained experience as a Solutions Engineer Intern at Lenovo in 2019. Shirin then served as a Teaching Assistant at East Carolina University in 2020. In 2021, they worked as a Data Visualization Support Specialist at North Carolina State University. Shirin also worked as a SAS Programmer at Facts Consulting Inc. Currently, Shirin is employed at AdvisorEngine as a Data Quality Support professional.

Shirin Jooybanpour holds a Master's degree in Data Science from East Carolina University, which they obtained from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they completed an Associate's degree in Data Science from Wake Technical Community College from 2017 to 2018. In 2009 to 2011, Shirin pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic. Shirin also holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Shahid Beheshti University, completed from 2005 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Shirin has obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Shirin earned a certification in "Applied Plotting, Charting & Data Representation in Python" from Coursera in April 2021, followed by a certification in "Introduction to Data Science in Python" in February 2021. In May 2020, they received the "Fundamentals of Visualization with Tableau" certification from Coursera. Shirin holds a "Qlik Sense Business Analyst Qualification - February 2019 Release" certification from Qlik, obtained in December 2019. Furthermore, they are a "SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9" and "SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9" through SAS, acquired in September and August 2018, respectively.
