Dan Olson

Dan Olson has extensive experience in the field of fraud prevention and analytics within the healthcare sector. Most recently, Dan served as the SIU Director at Advize from April 2025 to June 2025. Prior to that, Dan held multiple leadership positions at Deloitte from January 2015 to May 2025, including Vice President of Product Management and Senior Manager of Advanced Analytics, where responsibilities included establishing advanced data analytic processes to detect fraud, waste, and abuse. Dan’s earlier roles include Director of Product Engineering at HMS, where development of predictive models for Medicare and Medicaid was overseen, and Director of Fraud Prevention at Health Information Designs, Inc., leading a team focused on identifying fraud patterns. Additionally, Dan managed the SURS project at the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services from 1995 to 2007. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Production Management from Eastern Illinois University and an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Lincoln Land Community College.
