Michelle started their career as a paralegal at Meinhold, Stawiarski, Shapiro & Codilis LLP in January 2000. In January 2001, they transferred to Castle, Barrett, Stawiarski, Shapiro & Meinhold LLP where they worked as a paralegal until December 2003. In January 2006, Michelle joined Regions Bank as the Business Banking Team Administrator. Michelle was responsible for managing and supervising the non-sales staff of 14, preparing and reviewing loan documentation, coordinating loan closings, and clearing collateral document exceptions. In 2012, they were selected to serve on the company's business services simplification team of 25 people. In their role on the team, they were responsible for evaluating and perfecting company operations and processes. Michelle remained with Regions Bank until December 2012 when they accepted their current position with Advocate Capital.
Michelle Rigsby has a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from Metropolitan State University of Denver, an Associate's Degree in Paralegal from Arapahoe Community College, and various certifications from LinkedIn in Communicating with Charisma, Building Resilience, Improving Your Memory, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (2017), Coaching Employees through Difficult Situations, Business Writing Strategies, and Customer Service: Handling Abusive Customers. Michelle also has certification from Lynda.com in Solution Selling and from Arapahoe Community College in Paralegal.
