Edward McKinney

Edward McKinney, CISSP, currently serves as the Director of Information Security at Advocate Health since July 2021. Prior to this role, Edward was the Chief Information Security Officer at Floyd Healthcare Management, Inc. from July 2015 to July 2021. Edward's extensive background in information security includes positions such as Branch Chief of Information Security Engineering/Architecture and Senior Information System Security Engineer at the United States Department of Defense from August 2008 to July 2015. Edward also held the role of IS User Services Coordinator at Tennessee Aquarium from April 1997 to August 2008, and worked as a Computer Consultant at Millennium Computer Technologies from March 1995 to March 1997. Earlier experience includes managing information systems at Chattanooga Housing Authority and serving as Data Processing Manager at Cumberland Mills, Inc. Edward holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems from Jacksonville State University.
