James Koutnik

James Koutnik has extensive experience in IT and emergency services, currently serving as Manager of IT Infrastructure Engineering at Advocate Health since August 2012. Prior to this, Koutnik held the role of Program Manager at Upp Technology, Inc. from August 2007 to August 2012, and worked as a Firefighter EMT for the Jefferson County Fire Department between March 2004 and May 2007. Koutnik's earlier career includes contracting with DynCorp International and serving as an Infantry Non-Commissioned Officer in the United States Marine Corps. Academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, a Bachelor's degree from Washington State University, and an Associate of Arts degree from Peninsula College.
