Shaun O'Leary

Shaun O'Leary, MD, is currently serving as the Vice President of the Neuroscience Service Line at Advocate Health since December 2023, also holding the position of Attending Neurosurgeon. Prior to this role, O'Leary was the VP of Neuroscience Service Line and Attending Neurosurgeon at Advocate Aurora Healthcare, where the focus was on minimally invasive ambulatory and outpatient spine and nerve surgery. O'Leary has significant experience as the Medical Director of Neuroscience Services at Northwest Community Healthcare (2014-2021) and as the Head of the Division of Functional Neurosurgery at NorthShore University HealthSystem (2012-2014). Educational credentials include a Master of Public Health degree from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a Doctor of Medicine from Georgetown University, along with a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Seton Hall University and additional degrees in Chemistry.
