David Trotter

David Trotter, M.D., currently serves as the Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Advocate Aurora Health since January 2021. Previously, David held the position of Emergency Department Medical Director at US Acute Care Solutions from January 2015 to January 2021, overseeing a two-hospital integrated delivery system with 76,000 emergency department visits annually and admitting 70% of hospital patients. David's earlier experience includes working as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Little Company of Mary Hospital and University of Chicago Hospitals from July 2009 to February 2015. David earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine after completing a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Howard University.
