Jessica Kemp

Jessica Kemp graduated from Boston College in 1998 with an undergraduate degree in education.

While working as a special education teacher, she earned a master’s degree in special education, also from Boston College.

Feeling the need for a change in direction, she left the classroom and began working as a legislative aide for then-State Representative Karen Spilka. She served as campaign manager on Rep. Spilka’s successful campaign for State Senate.

In January of 2005, Jessica began working as Senator Spilka’s chief of staff. During her time with Senator Spilka, she worked often with Advocates, Inc. in the agency’s efforts to support individuals throughout the MetroWest area.

Jessica currently resides in Medfield with her husband Karl and their three children. After several years at home, she is now working at her alma mater Boston College. Jessica joined Advocates’ Board of Directors in 2007.
