Joanne Reid is the Director of Independent Broker Services at Advocates. Joanne has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry.

Joanne started their career at Ocwen Financial Corporation in November 2017 as a Senior Analyst in Investor Reporting. In this role, Joanne was responsible for implementing the correct interpretation of servicing agreements and Private Label Securities (PLS) servicing guides to ensure that portfolio reporting and remitting were completed in accordance with the applicable investor guidelines. Joanne also prepared monthly trial balances, remittance reports, and delinquency reports for investors and trusts, and facilitated the accurate and timely submission of reports and funds transfer to investors and trusts as specified by the servicing agreement.

In April 2019, Joanne left Ocwen Financial Corporation to join Advocates as the Director of Independent Broker Services. In this role, Joanne is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the independent broker services division, including but not limited to: maintaining relationships with independent broker dealers, providing them with updates on new products/services, and training them on the use of Advocates’ systems.

Joanne Reid has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from The George Washington University, a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Florida Coastal School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts from The George Washington University.

Their manager is Amy Dugliss, Executive Director. Joanne Reid works with Nicole Miller - Director, Community Habilitation, Justin Coyne - Director, Recruitment, and Chelsea McClellan - Director, Training & Support Services.
