Jill Watson

Jill Watson is a seasoned professional in financial education and instructional design, currently serving as a part-time professor at Seneca Polytechnic since September 2023. With extensive experience at Advocis since November 2016, Jill holds roles as Director of Designation Programs and Senior Director of Credentials & Standards, leading curriculum development for financial advisor competencies. Jill's teaching background includes an instructor position at Sheridan College, where learner-centered activities were developed for Personal Financial Planning courses. As a volunteer instructional designer for Habitat for Humanity, Jill created the successful financial literacy program, HomeWORKS. Prior roles include instructional design at Primerica Financial Services, executive coaching at MD Management Ltd., and pension fund analysis at SEI. Jill holds multiple credentials, including a Master's in Adult Education from Yorkville University and certification as a Credentialing Professional.
