Kristin Bjella

Kristin Bjella is an experienced attorney at law and partner at Advokatfirmaet Hjort DA since January 2011. Previously held partnerships at Advokatfirmaet Bjella AS (2008-2011), Advokatfirmaet Haavind AS (2000-2008), and Advokatfirmaet Vislie, Ødegård & Kolrud (1996-2000). Kristin began the legal career as an employed attorney at Advokatfirmaet Vislie, Ødegård & Kolrud from 1992 to 1996, and served as a judicial clerk at Lier, Røyken og Hurum sorenskriverembete/Drammen byrett from 1991 to 1992. Early experience included working as a senior consultant/legal advisor at the Juristdepartmentet, lovavdeling from 1988 to 1991. Kristin holds a Cand Jur degree from the University of Oslo, completed arbitration training through Danske Advokater and the Norwegian Bar Association, and has garnered expertise in appeal rights to the Supreme Court. Additionally, Kristin possesses a foundational degree in sociology from the University of Oslo.
