Mette Yvonne Larsen is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the leader of the defense group at Advokatforeningen since October 2023. Previously, Mette Yvonne Larsen has been a partner at Advokatfirma Larsen & co since March 2016, also holding the position of leader of the defense group. Mette Yvonne Larsen's earlier experience includes leading the legal office at Oslo kommune in the child and family agency from October 1990 to January 1997, along with serving as a senior consultant focusing on child welfare cases for the public party. Mette Yvonne Larsen holds a Cand.jur degree in law from the University of Oslo, obtained between 1982 and 1989, and completed an artium in social studies at Svolvær videregående skole from 1979 to 1982.
