Tom Tennille

Tom Tennille began their career in 1968 at Savannah Electric & Power Co. as GM, Engineering & System Control. In 2004, they moved to Advanced Power Technologies as VP Applications Engineering. Tom then returned to Savannah Electric & Power Company, now Coastal Division of Georgia Power Co., as General Manager - Engineering and System Control. Here, they managed all Substation construction and operations, system SCADA control, communications, transmission construction, and engineering services. Tom is now retired from the parent company, Southern Company.

Tom Tennille attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1963 to 1969, earning a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.
