Monde Nkosi

Monde Nkosi is a Non-Executive Director at Advtech. Monde has also held positions at TNS South Africa and the South African Sugar Association.

Monde began their career in May 1998 as a Supervisor at the South African Sugar Association's Insect Rearing Unit. In this role, they were responsible for managing an in-house insect rearing facility with a team of 20+ staff members. This included coaching and training the team in insect rearing, as well as conducting scientific research to improve rearing methods for various species of insects relevant to the South African Sugar Association. Monde also presented findings at scientific congresses.

In May 2013, Monde transitioned to TNS South Africa, where they served as a Research Executive until April 2014. In this role, they were responsible for writing proposals, collating and analyzing data, and preparing reports for clients based on customized questionnaires relating to beverage consumption. Monde also collaborated with internationally based field work agencies via email and conference calls regarding project progress and day to day project management.

Monde Nkosi completed their Master of Science in Entomology at Stellenbosch University. Monde completed their BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, and their Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Cell Biology also at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Monde has a Post Graduate Certificate in Education in Natural Sciences and Life Sciences from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
