Carol Bacon

Principal at ADW Architects

Carol Bacon, AIA, serves as Principal and Director of Professional Development at ADW Architects since January 2010, with a focus on managing design quality and consistency in new construction and renovations, particularly within the educational and entertainment sectors. In addition to their role at ADW, Carol has been a lecturer at UNCC School of Architecture since August 2014, teaching various studio courses and seminars on architecture and pop culture. Carol has also contributed as a liaison for UNCC IPAL and as an AIA representative to NAAB visiting teams. Previously, Carol taught architecture at Duke TIP and worked as a graduate assistant at UNC Charlotte. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Architecture from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
