Alistair Phillips

Alistair Phillips has over 20 years of work experience in the IT field. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Developer for Adwanted Group, where their responsibilities include development of modules using object-oriented PHP with Zend Framework, development of reporting systems in Adobe Flex, creation of enhanced user interfaces using JavaScript, jQuery and AJAX, scripting automated test plans using PHPUnit, coding of TSQL Stored Procedures, and more. From 2007 to 2021, they worked as a Senior Developer for Mediatel. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as IT Manager for red24. From 2003 to 2005, they worked as a Development Analyst for FirstAssist. From 2001 to 2003, they worked as a Developer for Foschini, where they provided maintenance of 550 Windows NT/2000 system servers, monitored systems, and performed system upgrades and re-installs. Alistair also worked as a Junior Programmer for the City of Cape Town from 2001 to 2001 and as an End User Support Professional for South Peninsula Municipality from 2001 to 2001.

Alistair Phillips obtained an International Diploma in Computer Studies from WS&L IT Training in 2000. The program included studies in programming, business systems, human communications, mathematics, and advanced programming.
