Julian then joined Chase in 2009 as an AVP and Operations Manager, responsible for managing teams and ensuring system maintenance and data integrity. In 2011, Julian moved to Bank of America as an AVP and Sr. Business Control Officer, successfully reducing risk and managing audit reports. From 2012 to 2019, Julian founded and led Bella Kinks, a company in the beauty industry focused on development and talent acquisition. Their current role is as the founder and CEO of adwoa beauty, a gender-neutral beauty company specializing in products for kinky, curly, and wavy hair textures.

Julian R. Addo pursued their tertiary education from 2000 to 2005 at the University of Minnesota. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
