Omar Hommos

Omar Hommos is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Engineering Lead for Data Platforms at Adyen since August 2018, overseeing approximately 50 individuals across multiple teams. In previous roles at Adyen, Omar held positions such as Engineering Manager for Data Platform Engineering, Senior Data Scientist for MLOps, and Data Scientist focusing on fraud detection, significantly contributing to the development of advanced data and machine learning platforms. Prior to Adyen, Omar co-founded Voltaat Store, achieving substantial growth, and interned at Schlumberger in the Wireline department. Omar's expertise is supported by a Master’s Degree in Embedded Systems from Delft University of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Qatar University.
