Tim Wisse

Tim Wisse is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in the fintech industry, currently serving as Data Lead for the Payment Engine at Adyen since February 2019, where multiple data engineering teams are directed in payment processing services. Previous roles at Adyen include Team Lead for Card Data Analytics, focusing on lifecycle insights for card-based payments, and several analyst positions within the Global Acquiring Team. Prior to Adyen, Tim gained experience as a Graduate Intern in Financial Risk Management at KPMG, where a thesis on Default Risk Charge modeling was completed. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering and Management from the University of Twente and exchange studies in Financial Engineering at both NTNU and National Chiao Tung University. Additionally, Tim has contributed to university governance as a board member of the Student Union at the University of Twente, and has academic experience as a Student Assistant in Industrial Engineering courses.
