Ioannis (John) Bourlakos has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to present. Ioannis (John) worked as a Web Developer at Avakas Media from 2006 to 2007. Ioannis (John) then became a Private Instructor in Computer Programming, providing instruction from 2008 to 2012. From 2012 to present, they have been involved with the University of Peloponnese, initially as a Technical Assistant from 2012 to 2013, and then as a Doctoral Student. In 2013, they also served in the Hellenic Army as a Private. Most recently, they worked as a Remote Perl Developer at Adzuna starting from August 2018. In this role, they were responsible for plugin development, framework expansion and maintenance, and providing agile solutions for job offers.
Ioannis (John) Bourlakos began their education at the 2nd Lyceum in Zakynthos, Greece, where they completed their high school education from 1999 to 2002. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Peloponnese and pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Technology from 2002 to 2012. After completing their undergraduate studies, Bourlakos continued their academic journey at the University of Peloponnese, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in the field of Adaptive Systems and Context-aware Systems. This accomplishment spanned from 2012 to 2017.
