Nadiia Gorash

Nadiia Gorash has extensive work experience in the field of data engineering, data science, and GIS (Geographic Information System). Nadiia is currently working as a Data Engineer at Adzuna since January 2022.

Prior to this role, Nadiia worked at Urban Big Data Centre as a Data Scientist from September 2019 to January 2022. Nadiia'sresponsibilities included supporting researchers in applying advanced geospatial analytical techniques, developing data science projects, and organizing seminar/webinar events.

Before joining Urban Big Data Centre, Nadiia worked at thinkWhere as a GIS Consultant from May 2017 to August 2019. In this role, they provided GIS consultancy for external customers, supported GIS technical expertise, and processed large volumes of spatial datasets.

Nadiia also gained valuable experience at Virgin Media, where they held multiple roles. Nadiia worked as a GIS Coordinator from May 2016 to April 2017, focusing on as-builts processing and cost control through GIS. Nadiia also worked as a GIS team leader on a data migration project from June 2013 to April 2016 and as a GIS technician from July 2012 to June 2013.

Additionally, Nadiia has experience working as a Project Leader at Intetics from March 2009 to May 2012. Nadiia'sresponsibilities included managing offshore teams and working on mapping projects for NAVTEQ.

Nadiia began their career as an Assistant Lecturer at O. M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv from September 2008 to May 2009.
