John Urbanek

John Urbanek has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. John started their career as a Technician at DataWave in 2001 and worked there until 2003. In 2004, they joined the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee as an IT Purchasing & Support - Research & Development Technician until 2005. Following that, they worked at Krav Maga Milwaukee, Inc. as an Instructor from 2006 to 2014. John then moved on to Swick Technologies, where they held various positions including Systems Engineer, Senior Systems Engineer, and Principal Network Architect from 2005 to 2016. Since 2016, they have been working at AE Business Solutions, where they have held roles such as Network & Security Solutions Architect, Director of Solutions Architecture, and currently serves as the Senior Director of Solutions Architecture & Engineering.

John Urbanek attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point from 2000 to 2003, where they studied Computer Science. John then transferred to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and pursued a degree in Computer Engineering from 2003 to 2008. In August 2006, they obtained a Krav Maga Instructor certification from Krav Maga Worldwide, Inc.
