Wim Verbeeck has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Wim is currently the Director of Business Development at AEB, a position they started in 2023. Early in their career, Wim worked at SimCon as the COO from 2000 to 2001, and at DHL as the Engineering Manager Europe and Middle East from 1995 to 2000. Their career began as a Material Handling Consultant at Vam Looy Logistics from 1989 to 1995.

Wim Verbeeck completed their education in a chronological order. In 1981, they attended the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where they pursued a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Wim studied at this institution until 1987. Following this, in 1987, Verbeeck enrolled at the Catholic University Leuven for a period of one year. During their time there, they obtained a Master's degree in Industrial Management and Civil Engineering, with a focus on thermo mechanics. In December 2018, Verbeeck obtained a certification named SFC, but the institution from which it was obtained is unknown.
