Vinay Subramanian

Vinay Subramanian is a Doctoral Candidate at The Wharton School, specializing in entrepreneurial strategy, venture capital, deeptech, innovation, and impact investing since August 2021. In addition to academic pursuits, Vinay serves as a Venture Advisor at AECInspire, a leading construction tech startup, and mentors deeptech startups at the IITM Incubation Cell and the eVTOL startup ePlane. Vinay holds a position as a Board/Investment Committee Member at Dvara Holdings and previously served as a Venture Advisor for Gulf Capital and a Board Member for Dvara KGFS, LeadSquared, and Betterhalf.ai. Vinay has also spent several years as Managing Director at Stakeboat Capital, overseeing fund operations and investments in various sectors. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from The Wharton School, an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, and a B.Tech in Materials Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
