Francois de Bruyn

Francois de Bruyn serves as a Continuous Improvement Specialist at AECI Limited since November 2013, focusing on identifying losses and cost challenges, managing continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with safety and governance standards. Prior experience at AECI Limited includes roles as Senior Technologist and Technologist, where responsibilities encompassed technical custodianship, plant support, and management of shock tube production. Major achievements include the design and implementation of an ammonium nitrate recovery plant and the qualification of alternative raw materials to ensure product continuity. Francois holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pretoria and a Certificate in Explosives Technology & Management from the University of South Africa.
