Adrian Armstrong is a chartered structural engineer with 15 years of experience in designing and delivering structural engineering projects within multi-disciplinary teams. Having worked on a diverse range of innovative projects across various geographies, including the UK, Europe, Africa, China, and the Middle East, Adrian holds a deep interest in sports stadia and long span structures. Currently serving as Associate Director at AECOM's Sports Structures Team, Adrian is one of five group leaders responsible for project delivery and staff mentoring within the London and South East Structural Engineering business. Prior experience includes positions at Elliott Wood Partnership and Hardman Structural Engineers, as well as a foundational role at Arup. Adrian earned a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Durham.
