Alex Acemyan

Associate Vice President, Managing Principal

Alex Acemyan, AIA, currently serves as the Vice President and Managing Principal of the Buildings + Places studio at AECOM in Houston, where responsibilities include driving vision, growth, strategy, business development, and design excellence for architectural and engineering consulting services in Texas. Prior to this role, Alex held the position of Associate Vice President at AECOM and worked as an Architectural Designer at Moore Ruble Yudell Architects & Planners. Experience also includes roles as an Architectural Intern at NEUF architect(e)s, KILO Architects, and Northern Ireland Housing Executive, as well as serving as a Project Architect and Senior Associate at PDR - Design, Architecture and Consulting. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan and a Master of Architecture from Rice University.
