Basem A. Mounas

Basem A. Mounas, P.E. is currently serving as Vice President at AECOM, having joined the firm in 2024. Previously, Basem held various leadership roles at AECOM, including Associate Vice President and Principal, where they managed the MEP department for the New York Metro Region. With extensive experience in mechanical engineering, Basem worked at companies such as WSP, Syska Hennessy Group, and DLB Associates, honing their skills in project management and technical leadership. Basem holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the City University of New York City College, earned from 1986 to 1991.
