Ian Shelley

Ian Shelley is an Operations Director in the Geotechnical Division of AECOM, bringing over 25 years of expertise in Geotechnical and Civil Engineering. They have led significant projects, including a multi-million pound ground investigation for a BP pipeline and geotechnical design for a new port development in the UAE. With a focus on the rail sector for the past 10-15 years, Ian has overseen numerous multidisciplinary rail schemes across the UK. Ian holds a Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering Design and Management from Nottingham Trent University and has gained extensive experience through various roles at AECOM, URS, and Scott Wilson.
