Jim Lightbody is a Principal at Lightbody Consulting and has been a Senior Consultant at AECOM since 2006, managing various transit and transportation planning projects, including significant work on the California High Speed Rail project. They served as a Lead Instructor for the National Transit Institute's Bus Rapid Transit training course from 2006 to 2013 and held key positions at VTA from 1973 to 2000, including Planning Manager and Deputy Director. Jim earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Santa Clara University and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Stanford University.
