Matthew Gunn

Matthew Gunn is a seasoned Transportation Engineer with significant experience in roadway design, currently employed at AECOM since October 2013. In this role, Matthew is responsible for evaluating and designing various Design-Build projects to meet contract documents and applicable design standards while also creating alternative designs that enhance functionality, simplify constructability, and reduce costs. Prior to AECOM, Matthew worked at the Washington State Department of Transportation from January 2008 to September 2013, where responsibilities included designing projects such as unstable slope retrofits, roundabouts, and complex interchanges, as well as performing complex engineering calculations throughout all design phases. Matthew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wyoming, earned between 2003 and 2007.
