Mohammad al-Akash

Mohammad Al-Akash, P.E., PTOE, is a seasoned Project Manager at AECOM since September 2017, responsible for leading diverse teams in the delivery of traffic engineering and operational services. With experience as a Transportation Systems Management and Operations Engineer and Traffic Operation/ITS Engineer, Mohammad also serves as a Part-Time Lecturer at Eastern Michigan University, teaching undergraduate students the principles of Transportation Engineering. Prior to AECOM, roles included Graduate Research Assistant at Western Michigan University and Quantity Surveyor for a road construction project at Dar Al-Omran Consultant in Amman, Jordan. Early career experience includes serving as a Site Engineer for a major infrastructure project with Ghantoot Transport & General Contracting Est. Mohammad holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology.
