Shane R. Beabes

Shane R. Beabes, PE, is an experienced engineering professional who currently serves as Vice President of Engineering at AECOM, where they have held various roles since 2010, including Technical Leader and Chief Bridge Engineer. Previously, they worked as Practice Area Leader at KCI Technologies, Inc., and as a Project Engineer at the Maryland State Highway Administration, among other positions. Shane has contributed to the industry as a leader, strategic thinker, and author, participating in multiple national committees and serving as an invited lecturer. They are currently pursuing a Master of Engineering with a structural emphasis at the University of Maryland College Park, having previously earned a BSCE with distinction from Penn State University.
