Ahmed Montaser

Ahmed Montaser, MSc, PMP, PMI-SP, EVP is an experienced professional with a strong background in project controls and planning. Ahmed has held various roles in multiple companies, including Aecon Group Inc., Crosslinx Transit Solutions, Bechtel Civil Infrastructure, Ewaan Global Residential Company, Saudi Oger Ltd., Benaa PM, Egyptian Armed Forces, SQUARE Engineering Firm, and Orascom Construction Industries (OCI).

In their most recent role as Project Controls Director at Aecon Group Inc., Ahmed was responsible for strategic management of the Planning function for Aecon UTS and MPE BU's. Ahmed supervised, coached, developed, and mentored project controls personnel, and led the development of lessons learned and implementation of centralized procedures, tools, and processes.

Prior to that, Ahmed served as the Lead Planner/Scheduler (Systems) at Crosslinx Transit Solutions, where they developed and revised baseline schedules for Systems scope and created internal schedules to achieve milestones and KPIs.

Before joining Aecon Group Inc. and Crosslinx Transit Solutions, Ahmed worked as a Senior Planner at Bechtel Civil Infrastructure, where they performed 4D planning and analysis of critical path activities.

Ahmed also gained valuable experience as a Lead Planning Engineer at Ewaan Global Residential Company, Planning Engineer at Saudi Oger Ltd., Project Controls Engineer at Benaa PM, and Trainee Site Engineer at SQUARE Engineering Firm and Orascom Construction Industries (OCI).

Ahmed Montaser holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Construction Engineering and Management from Ain Shams University, which they obtained from 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Structural Engineering from Ain Shams University, specializing in Civil Engineering (Structural Division), from 2005 to 2010.

Additionally, Ahmed Montaser has acquired several certifications throughout their career. These include the PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in July 2013. Ahmed also obtained the PMI-SP (Project Management Institute - Scheduling Professional) certification in February 2014.

In 2016, they earned the Earned Value Professional (EVP) certification from AACE International. Furthermore, they have obtained various training certifications, such as the "Navisworks Essential Training" and "Synchro Essential Training" from Lynda.com in 2018 and 2020 respectively. Ahmed Montaser also completed the "Forensic Schedule Delay Analysis" course from Project Control Academy in 2019 and "Creating Concrete Buildings with Revit Structure" course from LinkedIn in 2016.
