Robert Eagar

Robert Eagar, CRSP, is an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional with a strong background in leadership and management across various industries, including nuclear, shipbuilding, and oil and gas. Currently serving as the Director of EHS - Nuclear at Aecon Group Inc., Robert is responsible for implementing the EHS system within the nuclear organization and mentoring EHS leaders. Previous roles include Director of HSSE at Irving Shipbuilding and J.D. Irving, Director of EHS at Safway Group, and various managerial positions at Chevron, ExxonMobil, BG Group, and Agrium. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety from the University of Alberta and has extensive expertise in safety systems, compliance, training program development, and fostering a culture of safety excellence.
