Stephen Stanko

Stephen Stanko is currently the Deputy Director of Nuclear Fabrication at AECON, overseeing significant aspects of nuclear projects, including the SMR Program. With extensive experience in project management and construction supervision, they previously held roles as a Senior Site Supervisor for a major nuclear expansion project at Georgia Power and as a Manager for various international nuclear initiatives. Stanko's earlier career includes service as a Sergeant in the Army National Guard and experience as a Union Bricklayer, highlighting a diverse skill set in both military and construction sectors. They hold degrees in Business Management from Alfred State College and General Studies from Central Texas College and St. Petersburg College.
