Hasan Sentosun, MBA

Hasan Sentosun, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to the present. Hasan is currently working as a Finance Manager at AEC since August 2020. Previously, they worked as a Financial Consultant for freelance projects from 2018 to August 2020.

Hasan has also held positions at various companies, including PayCanada Corp. as a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager from 2015 to 2017, MATRIX GROUP as a Commercial Business Manager in 2015, Turkcell as a Senior Financial Controller from 2013 to 2014, Turk Telekom as a Budget and Planning Analyst Specialist from 2011 to 2013, GBL Enterprises, Inc., OK USA as a Corporate Business Analyst from 2009 to 2010, and TABIC as an International Business Assistant from 2006 to 2009.

Hasan Sentosun, MBA has a strong educational background in finance, accounting, and management. In 2001, they began their academic journey at Marmara University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on management. Hasan successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2005.

After gaining some practical experience in the business field, Hasan furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree at Dowling College in 2008. Hasan specialized in corporate finance during their time at Dowling College and completed their MBA in 2009.

In 2018, Hasan decided to enhance their knowledge in accounting and finance by enrolling in the Finance & Accounting Certificate Program at Ryerson University. Hasan spent two years dedicated to this program, graduating in 2020.

Throughout their education, Hasan also obtained additional certifications to complement their academic qualifications. Hasan completed courses such as "Looker First Look," "Excel 2016 Essential Training," "Running a Profitable Business: Understanding Cash Flow," and "Excel: PivotTables for Beginners" through LinkedIn. These certifications were obtained between 2019 and 2020, showcasing Hasan's commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Furthermore, Hasan is currently pursuing professional certifications in the field of accounting. Hasan is in progress towards obtaining both the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation from the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario).
