Sebastian Koltermann

Sebastian Koltermann is a seasoned professional in privacy and data protection, currently serving as the Director of Privacy and Group Data Protection Officer at AEG Europe since July 2021, contributing to the creation of major live events. As the owner of BlueDatex, a consultancy focused on global privacy challenges, Koltermann applies extensive expertise in the field. Previous roles include Co-Founder and CEO of Viderum, where significant growth was achieved in providing open-data solutions, Lead of the Services Division at Open Knowledge International, and CTO at Infernum Productions AG. Additional experience encompasses key positions at Dreamlines GmbH, NetService24 GmbH, Wikimedia Deutschland e.V., entriq, and Avario Business Solutions. Koltermann holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Texas Christian University and is pursuing certification in Artificial Intelligence Governance from IAPP.
