André Pires de Oliveira Dias

André Pires has more than 30 years of experience in financial and capital markets. He developed his career in Brazil and the USA working for Banco Geral do Comércio, Montgomery Asset Management, BBA Creditanstalt Bank, and BNP Paribas. He joined Gerdau in 2004 as a family office manager and then CFO for Gerdau Ameristeel in the USA. In 2012, he took as CFO and IRO for Gerdau, a position he occupied until 2015 when taking as CFO and IRO for Ultrapar. Mr. Pires is a graduate degree in business administration with an emphasis in finances from FGV (Getúlio Vargas Foundation) and concluded the Advanced Management Program from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, in the USA.
