Athanasios Platanitis

Athanasios Platanitis is an accomplished internal auditor with extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as an Internal Auditor at Aegean Baltic Bank S.A. since November 2021. Prior to this role, Athanasios held various positions at PwC Greece, progressing from Internal Audit Associate to Internal Audit Senior Associate between December 2018 and October 2021. Athanasios also worked at Alpha Bank as an Internal Auditor from June 2013 to November 2018 and previously at Emporiki Bank as Head Teller. Early career experiences included roles at Millennium Bank A.E. and an internship at EKKE. Athanasios holds an MBA and an MSc in Strategic Human Resource Management from Alba Graduate Business School, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. Athanasios is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
