AEGEE-Tartu is an international, tolerant and open community, whose mission is to offer Tartu students development opportunities and experiences on both a local and pan-European level. The current main focus areas of the AEGEE network are interpersonal relations, digital culture and an environmentally friendly society. We are one of the largest student organizations in Europe, with branches in a total of 40 countries from the Canaries to the Caucasus.

We organize events in Tartu every week on European cultures, self-development or other current topics, and we also spend pleasant time together. On an international level, several-day projects and events take place in various European cities throughout the year, for which you can apply even immediately after joining. AEGEE's longest-term project is the summer university, during which you can spend two weeks in a European location with an international group, participate in thematic workshops, discover local culture and step out of your comfort zone.

We are looking forward to joining us all year round for young people aged 18-35 who are interested in the world and would like to bring new value to their lives. To join, you must first fill out a form, after which you will be contacted. Our events usually take place in our office in the center of Tartu, in both Estonian and English.

There are many opportunities in AEGEE, both locally and internationally, and each member has the opportunity to choose which ones they want to experience and to what extent. It is not the seniority or position that matters, but their own initiative. Everyone can find their place in AEGEE!
