Rikke Winther Nørgaard has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. In 2020, they co-founded Aegir Insights, a technology-driven intelligence company serving the offshore wind sector. As the CCO and co-founder, they leverage data science and industry experience to assist global renewable players in making smarter decisions. Rikke advises offshore wind developers, investors, and regulators.

In 2023, Rikke became a board member at Energy Cluster Denmark.

Prior to Aegir Insights, Rikke worked as a Lead Consultant at Treetop Partners from 2018 to 2021.

From 2017 to 2018, they served as the Regional Commercial Manager for North America at Ørsted. In this role, they were responsible for the commercial strategy, bid preparation, and optimization of offshore wind projects in development in North America. Rikke was also a member of the US management team and Asset Project Steering Committees.

Before Ørsted, Rikke held various roles at DONG Energy from 2011 to 2017. Rikke was a Senior Commercial Manager and a Pipeline Manager (Team Lead) in the Wind Power division. Rikke also worked as a Business Consultant.

In 2008, Rikke started their career as a Sustainability Advisor at Novozymes. Rikke was responsible for investor relations, stakeholder management, and business development. Rikke also served as a Sustainability Professional and a Sustainability Project Assistant during their time at Novozymes.

Rikke's early work experience includes a role as an Assistant Development Consultant at the Confederation of Danish Industries from 2007 to 2008.

These experiences highlight Rikke's expertise and contribution to the renewable energy and sustainability sectors.
