Scott Urquhart has a diverse work experience in the energy and technology sectors. In 2003, they began their career as a Field Engineer at Schlumberger, specializing in well services. Scott then moved on to Pengrowth Energy Corporation in 2004, where they worked as a Senior Reservoir Engineer focused on development and operations. From 2007 to 2010, Scott worked as an Associate at Macquarie Group, specializing in energy acquisitions and divestments.

In 2011, Scott joined Ørsted, taking on multiple roles including Manager, Head of Technical Valuation, Senior Manager, Project CFO, and Programme Director for the construction of the Race Bank Offshore Wind Farm. During this time, they played a crucial role in the successful completion of the project, which now supplies more than 500 MW of energy.

In 2018, Scott transitioned to Vattenfall, where they served as the Director and Head of Offshore Wind Park Design. Scott then joined Stiesdal in 2019 as the Chief Strategy Officer. In this role, they contributed to the development of the company as a climate technology company, overseeing the growth of the organization from 1 to 70 employees. Scott successfully secured innovation grant funding and corporate growth investment for various projects, including long duration energy storage and carbon negative biofuel.

Most recently, in 2019, Scott became the Chief Executive Officer of Aegir Insights.
