Signe Sørensen

Signe Sørensen has a range of work experience in the fields of research, communication, and journalism. Signe is currently working at Aegir Insights, where they hold the position of Senior Research Analyst - Regional Lead Americas since February 2023. Signe previously worked as a Communication Manager and Senior Research Analyst from December 2022 to March 2023, and as a Communication Manager & Research Associate from December 2020 to November 2022.

Before joining Aegir Insights, Signe worked as a freelancer for NIRAS from August 2015 to September 2019. Signe also had a role as a Communications Intern at NIRAS from January 2015 to July 2015.

Signe's experience includes working as Chefredaktør at Featuring.dk, a magazine focused on current societal topics and news from February 2016 to March 2018.

Additionally, Signe worked at Bonnier Publications A/S as a Redaktionssekretær from January 2016 to August 2016. Their responsibilities included developing ideas for news articles, conducting research, hiring freelancers, coaching them, and editing the final articles. Signe also contributed to the magazine's website and managed its social media presence.

Signe began their career as a journalist at Dagbladet Børsen from August 2012 to January 2014.

Signe Sørensen completed their education with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in History from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, from the years 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole, spanning from 2011 to 2015. Signe initially completed their high school education, known as "Studentereksamen," at Køge Gymnasium from 2007 to 2010, where they studied subjects such as Samfundsfag, Engelsk og Spansk A, Matematik og Fysik B.
