Austin Wilson

Austin Wilson is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience across multiple roles in various companies. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at AEGIS Hedging since October 2021, Austin has also held positions as Vice President and Architect within the same organization. Prior experience includes roles as a Software/Data Engineer at RPC, Inc., and Energy Practice Lead/Client Engagement Manager at WebCreek, along with further experience as an IT Manager at DPIS ENGINEERING, LLC, and MWD Field Engineer at The Directional Drilling Company. Austin's career began in education as a teacher at Athens High School, where advanced mathematics was taught. Austin graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering in 2009.
