Janet Ramos

Janet Ramos is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in financial management and reporting. Currently serving as a Corporate Accountant at AEGIS Insurance Services, Inc. since June 2014, Janet prepares and reconciles financial statements, performs monthly analysis, oversees general ledger updates, maintains accounting policies, and facilitates internal and external audits. Previously, Janet held positions at New York Life Insurance Company, where roles included Senior Associate Accountant and Accounting Assistant, focusing on asset valuation, dividend reviews, and statutory statement preparation. Janet began an accounting career as an Accounting Co-op at Maher Terminals. Janet holds a Master of Science in Accountancy from Saint Peter's University and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from St. Peter's College.
