Simon Day

Simon Day has a strong background in actuarial work, with extensive experience as a Chief Actuary in several insurance companies. Simon held the position of Senior Vice President - Actuarial & Chief Actuary at AEGIS Insurance Services since August 2011. Prior to that, they served as Chief Actuary at American Safety Insurance from April 2009 to August 2011 and at Aspen Specialty Insurance Company from November 2003 to December 2008. Simon also worked as a Director of Actuarial at First State Management Group from May 2001 to November 2003. Simon began their career at PwC, where they served as a Principal Consultant from 1998 to 2001 and as a Senior Manager from 1988 to 1998. Overall, Simon has over 30 years of experience in the actuarial field.

Simon Day attended City, University of London from 1985 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Actuarial Science.
