David Watkins

David Watkins is an accomplished hospitality professional with extensive experience in hotel management and operations. Currently serving as Senior General Manager at Aegis Living since August 2020, David is overseeing the opening of the Aegis Laurelhurst community in May 2024. David co-founded ZooNormal in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, aiming to support hospitality staffing needs. Previous roles include General Manager positions at The Sound Hotel and the Inn at The Market, where notable achievements included managing renovations and enhancing guest experiences. David's career spans over three decades, with prior experience at Kimpton Hotels, Hotel Max, and Wyndham Hotels, complemented by degrees in hospitality management from Kapi‘olani Community College and a diploma from the Fiji School of Hotel and Catering.
