Daniel Simoes Mateus

Daniel Simoes Mateus has a work experience that spans over several companies and roles. Daniel is currently the Head of Sales Benelux & Nordics at AEGON Asset Management, a position they have held since July 2020. Prior to this role, they served as the Executive Director of Institutional Business Development at the same company from November 2020 to June 2023.

Before joining AEGON Asset Management, Daniel worked at the company as a Senior Account Manager in the Asset Management division from April 2013 to October 2020. Daniel also held the position of Senior Product Development Manager from December 2006 to April 2013.

In addition to their tenure at AEGON Asset Management, Daniel has also worked at Jufidet B.V. as a Consultant from 2004 to 2006, and at ING Investment Management in the same role during the same period.

- From 1999 to 2004, they attended Erasmus University Rotterdam and earned a Drs degree in Financial Economics.
